The challenges facing the Mediterranean cannot be addressed by individual projects working alone. Sharing knowledge, experiences and solutions is essential to creating a wider and lasting impact.
With this in mind, RedeeM met with representatives of the Natural Heritage Mission (NHM) on 4 August 2026 to explore how the two communities can work more closely together.
The collaboration will give RedeeM new opportunities to exchange experiences with other Mediterranean projects and bring its work to a wider audience. Pilot activities, study visits and project events could become meeting points where people from different territories share ideas, learn from one another and discover approaches that could be useful in their own contexts.
Rather than creating additional layers of work, the aim is to build practical connections around activities that are already taking place.
RedeeM and NHM will now identify upcoming opportunities to collaborate and involve the wider community.
By creating these connections, RedeeM can help knowledge and experience travel beyond individual projects — strengthening cooperation across the Mediterranean.
